Hey There, I’m Ben, the author of this site. On this blog, I share my reflections on mindfulness and living the good life. This page will give you a brief overview of what to expect if you want to dive deeper.
First, the quote that was the spark that ignited change in my life and led me out of the darkness and into a life of presence:
“I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.” – Henry David Thoreau
Now, I don’t live by Walden Pond, but I have made some pretty big changes in my life over the past couple years that went against the “normal path,” and for that, I’m most grateful.
I’ve been creating most of my life, but only recently became a writer. I started this blog with some burning questions:
- What if instead of running from pain and fear, we became intimate with it and learned the deep truths it had to teach us?
- Could we build a tribe that collectively has the power to shift the consciousness of an entire generation?
- How could I make mindfulness and meditation practical for modern millennials who are looking to chill the f*ck out?
What I found in my journey was a tribe of people yearning for a deeper meaning in life and searching for practical tools to help them live fully.
Here is where we learn to be HERE, here is where we decide to live deliberately, here is where we where we discover that we already have everything it takes to get through the fear and take back control of our moments.
